Our dedicated Outreach team invests the time to build relationships and trust– praying with people and learning their needs, so that they will accept our offer of shelter.
Our friends experiencing homelessness typically experienced such abusive and neglectful families that now it’s hard for them to trust anyone. They grew up feeling disposable, and are living the consequences now.
Sometimes this is a quick process and sometimes it takes years. Regardless, our team is hitting the streets, riverbanks, greenways, parks, and bridges of Yakima with the message that God loves them and sent us to help!
