YUGM Stores have quickly become some of the most popular thrift stores in Yakima. They are clean, beautifully decorated and are full of wonderful merchandise! YUGM opened its largest Thrift store in June 2021 in the old Rite Aid location on 56th and Summitview, next to Safeway. The Donation Center is open and accepting your donated clothing and household items. Stop by to enjoy our largest Thrift boutique store to support the work of Yakima Union Gospel Mission.

Mission Thrift opened its doors in the summer of 2019 and took off running! Centrally located on 20th & Lincoln, this store has become a local hot spot for both shopping and donating. With a large selection of name brand clothing, beautiful home decor, books, electronics, furniture and housewares, Mission Thrift has something for everyone!

Relocated from the historic building on front street, Lighthouse Thrift is now right off the freeway and down the street from our main YUGM campus at 1606 N 1st st. This location makes it easy to donate and volunteer as it is a quick drive from surrounding areas. Come by and see our newest location and shop for your next thrift store treasure!

Donation items must be in good, clean, usable condition, in boxes or bags. They must be dry with no odors, rips, stains, yard sale stickers and no need of repair.

You can help us reduce our expenses by allowing us to decline some items that we cannot sell in our stores. You can also help us by disposing of broken items with your trash prior to donating. Please call one of our stores to to confirm a donation item in question.
We cannot accept:
•Large appliances, such as copiers or washing machines
•Car seats, cribs or helmets (due to safety issues)
•Mattresses (UNLESS NEW)
•Box TV’s
•Anything that requires assembly
The Thrift Gift Card Program is a partnership opportunity between local churches, schools and non-profit organization and YUGM. The Thrift Gift Card Program encourages churches, schools, and non-profit organizations to be intentional about selecting their gently used household items for donation to Stores. The stores then return a portion of the value of these items in the form of gift cards to your church, school or non-profit organization to help those directly in your care.
The process is quite simple.
And, donors are still able to take advantage of the tax-deduction with every gift to YUGM Stores.
