The Journey of Hope Golf Classic, hosted by Borton Fruit, is a four-person scramble at Apple Tree Golf Course in Yakima, WA benefiting Madison House Youth Center.
For over a decade, the Journey of Hope has built bridges of partnership in support of kids and their families served by the Madison House Youth & Family Center, a ministry of Yakima Union Gospel Mission in southeast downtown Yakima. Situated in one of the Valley’s toughest neighborhoods, Madison House has been a place for safe after-school activities, tutoring, Bible studies, meals, camps,
mentoring and more.
As homelessness has increased across the Valley, YUGM is making the decision to hand the programming and ministry of Madison House to faithful community partners to continue the good work of supporting youth in Yakima. This event will be a celebration of 30 years of ministry to students and an opportunity to connect partners to the new leadership and vision for student, family, and neighborhood services at Madison House.
