We have invested in improving Yakima, but we could never have done it alone. Every year, volunteers contribute thousands of hours of work. They generously provide their skills and labor, from doctors in the medical clinic to church volunteers organizing donations at the thrift stores.
If you are one of those volunteers, we want to extend our deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks for all that you do. If you are interested in helping our Mission, there are many ways we could use your assistance.
We are a registered 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization (#23-7050061). From the meals we serve to the homeless to improvements we make to our facilities, it is all paid for by the generous donations from the community and our partners. You can make donations over the phone, by mail, or online.
Now, more than ever, volunteers are an essential part of YUGM’s effort to help people move from homelessness to wholeness. We accept new volunteers all year so it is always a good time to get involved!

We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, a majority of our staff works during normal business hours. So, if you are hoping to get in touch with someone in our offices, the best time to reach out is Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
